"This film addresses many of the major ideas that have been mistakenly associated with trans healthcare and social transition. The film stars Julia Serano who introduces a bottom-up approach to identify marginalization. As the creator of this film and a trans man myself, I hope that this documentary can help researchers and journalists see that the best way to address trans marginalization is by bringing us into the creation process. And socially, I hope that this documentary will help people understand that beginning to believe trans people's identities is the first step to us being able to trust one another again. Let us listen to each other more deeply with less preconceived notions when we express how we feel about ourselves and our experiences"
