Artist in Residence
Pentangle Arts' Artist in Residence Program offers talented artists across disciplines a unique opportunity to hone their craft within the vibrant Woodstock community, with guidance from seasoned professionals. Participants receive studio space, access to local resources, and opportunities to collaborate with other creatives, including coaching and mentoring from acclaimed artists such as Tuck and Patti. The program culminates in a public presentation or performance, allowing residents to showcase their work to the community. This enriching initiative supports artists in their professional growth and enhances the cultural landscape by infusing it with fresh ideas and artistic expressions.

“Claim the Lane: Becoming Roxy” tracks the story of Roxy Bombardier, an Iraq veteran amateur cyclist confronting a transphobic past and risking her closest relationships to come out and be her true self at age 51.

TEDxWoodstock started as TEDxHartlandHill, named for the ridge overlooking the community and the history woven through it. It has become clear the ideas and conversations stretch beyond one hillside. The hill grounds our story. Woodstock extends the invitation even wider. All are welcome.
