Join us as we open Wassail Weekend in historic Woodstock with Pentangle’s Here We Go A-Wassailing, a festive community tradition that sets the joyful tone for the days ahead.
Friday, Dec 12th - OPENING EVENTS
“Here We Go A-Wassailing” Walk – A joyful procession led by a bagpiper from East End Park to the Village Green with candles, bells, cider, and local food vendors.
Starts 4:30pm @East End Park, Woodstock
Ends @The Green with drinks, food, & celebration.
Free to all!
Gather for a short candlelit walk through town, complete with jingling bells and led by the stirring sound of a bagpipe, as we make our way together to the Green. It’s a magical way to welcome the holiday season and come together as a community.
Pentangle will be serving hot mulled cider, and additional adult beverages and food will be available for purchase—perfect for staying warm and merry.
This enchanting procession takes place just before the opening concert at Pentangle, making it the perfect start to a full weekend of celebration.
