BettySoo grew up outside Houston, raised by first-generation Korean immigrant parents, and found her way to music through nights at Austin's legendary Cactus Café. She went on to win New Folk at Kerrville, Songwriter of the Year at Big Top Chautauqua, and the Dave Carter Songwriting Award at Sisters Folk Festival. BettySoo
Her shows are as much about what's said between songs as the songs themselves — entertaining, ever-changing, and built around a breathtaking voice and moving stories. CleaRights
