Welcome to the 2012-2013 Season of Pentangle Arts Council! As the heartbeat of the arts in your community for 38 years, we’re delighted to continue the tradition of inviting the finest national and international talent to perform in the historic Woodstock Town Hall Theatre. Pentangle performances are the perfect place to get together with friends and neighbors and enjoy the up-close-and-personal excitement of having the world’s best artists right here in your own backyard.
Highlights this coming season include GRAMMY-winning icons of klezmer and gypsy jazz, international flavors from Spain and Ireland, soul-stirring gospel for Wassail Weekend, and even Nitty Gritty Dirt Band founder John McEuen in a brand-new duo project. Theater lovers will thrill to another madcap musical adventure from the Pentangle Players, followed a few months later by a direct-from-Broadway special benefit for the Barnard Community Foundation’s efforts to preserve the Barnard General Store. And of course, annual favorites like the Holiday House Tour round out the season! As always, Pentangle members receive a 10% discount on their advance ticket purchases for Main Stage shows.
