Pentangle Director Receives Award

Arts Achievement Day at the State House in Montpelier.

Sabrina BrownSabrina Brown, Executive Director of Pentangle Council on the Arts since 1998, will receive the Vermont Arts Council Citation of Merit Award in recognition of her distinguished service to the arts in Vermont.Under Sabrina's leadership, Pentangle has become a pillar of the community, and the organization has flourished through increased membership, growing attendance and a strong financial foundation. Her expertise in linking diverse groups, individuals, businesses, schools and organizations has helped create a richer community through the arts.The day's other events include advocacy training, lunch with legislators, tours of the State House Art Collection and a special forum to discuss how the arts can impact the next generation.
