Pentangle Membership is a great way for frequent event-goers to support the arts and receive a little something in return!

Benefits of purchasing a Pentangle Membership include valuable discounts on performances and movies, advance notice when a new show is added to the schedule, recognition in the season Playbill, and an invitation to the annual Member meeting. A Pentangle Membership also makes a great gift for the arts-lover in your life!

We've recently made some changes to our Membership program in order to serve you better. With simplified levels and an expansion of benefits, we think you'll be pleased with the changes. Please see below to get started! You can purchase a membership online and receive your card by mail, or else you can call (802-457-3981) or visit our box office to sign up.

Basic Membership: $50

The Basic Membership level provides benefits for up to 2 people and includes:

$1 discount on Town Hall Theatre movies
10% discount on tickets to Main Stage performances (advance purchase only)
Weekly Pentangle e-newsletter
Acknowledgment in annual Season Playbill
Invitation to annual Member event

Memberships purchased now are valid through December 31, 2013.

Family Membership: $100

The Family Membership level provides the same benefits as the Basic level, except it extends those benefits for up to 5 people:

$1 discount on Town Hall Theatre movies
10% discount on tickets to Main Stage performances (advance purchase only)
Weekly Pentangle e-newsletter
Acknowledgment in annual Season Playbill
Invitation to annual Member event

When does my membership expire?
One of the changes we've made is to shift membership to align with the calendar year. This means that all memberships purchased within a particular calendar year are valid from January 1 to December 31 of that calendar year (sorry, no pro-rates). Members may also renew early for the following calendar year. In consideration of this transition to a new timeline, all memberships purchased in mid-/late-2012 will be valid through December 31, 2013.

If I am a donor, am I automatically a member?
Donations and memberships are separate opportunities with differing tax implications. Many of our contributors choose to support Pentangle through a combination of donation and membership. Donors who give $750 or more during our Annual Appeal receive a complimentary Family membership.

Is my membership tax-deductible?
Membership may be partially tax-deductible, minus the value of any benefits used in the course of the tax year. It is the member's responsibility to track benefit use. Please consult with a tax professional for details.
