Every ticket includes a $10 tax-deductible donation to Preservation Trust of Vermont for the Barnard General Store Project. Emmy Award-winning and Oscar-nominated husband and wife team Renée Taylor and Joe Bologna star in this hysterically funny comedy which celebrates their acting/writing partnership and four-decade love affair. Raved The New York Times, “A heavenly match….Neil Simon might have created this pair!” Renée and Joe have been spending summers in Barnard, Vermont for over 30 years and are delighted to have this opportunity for a debut performance in their adopted community. Proceeds from the performance support the Barnard Community Trust’s efforts to preserve the Barnard General Store. Critically-acclaimed actress Renée Taylor boasts a long career on the stage and screen, but she is perhaps most recognized as Sylvia Fine, Fran Drescher's mother on "The Nanny." Currently, she can be seen in recurring roles on "How I Met Your Mother," “Happily Divorced,” and her upcoming silver-screen projects include roles in Tyler Perry’s new movie, The Marriage Counselor, and in the upcoming film Zarra’s Law, opposite Tony Sirico. Joe Bologna’s acting career dates back to his days as an undergraduate at Brown University. After a tour in the Marines, he made his professional acting debut on Broadway in 1968 in "Lovers and Other Strangers." His first feature film role was the starring part of Vito Pignoli in Made for Each Other, and his other many film credits include My Favorite Year, Blame it on Rio and most recently, Big Daddy, where he played Adam Sandler’s father. Additionally the duo has numerous writing and directing accolades, including the feature film It Had to Be You, in which they also co-starred and which is based on one of their Broadway plays. They shared the same duties in their original feature film, Love is All There Is, which featured Angelina Jolie in her first starring role. Sponsored by: Blue Horse Inn
