A Presentation of Pentangle’s Dana Emmons Arts in Education Program
Lewis & Clark (By TheatreworksUSA History’s Alive! and Patrick Garner) Friday, March 22, 2013, 9:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. A great American voyage of discovery comes to life in this thrilling interactive production. Led by Broadway actor Patrick Garner, students take on the roles of Lewis and Clark, as well as their Native American guide Sacagawea, the Corps of Discovery, and many others as they explore the newly acquired Louisiana Purchase. Students experience hair’s-breadth escapes, chance reunions, ferocious animals, and the scenic majesty of Lewis and Clark’s two-and-a-half year-long adventure – all in 45 minutes! Along the way, they’ll have so much fun that they won’t realize all the lessons they’re learning about history, science, character development, and teamwork! Tickets for all AIE programs are $5/person. Performances are open to schools, seniors, and the general public – advance ticket reservations are highly recommended. Ticket reservation forms can be downloaded here. Or click here to see a video preview of the entire 2012-2013 AIE Season!
